ECHO OF A NEW YEAR

How white spirits flows by the air around; hearts with joys, eyes with hopes
Romance in winter; and laugh till belly ache
Coldness fill with warm hugs; colours fill by clowns
Six strings foresight the saga of novel year;
Lovers kiss and moon shines overhead
December breeze adieu in tears, the arrival of new dawn
Clock shows twelve and claps offer hero’s welcome,
The New Year!
But, riches are richer, poor are poorer
Poverty stares and money flows in the air.

Sun rises in the east; husband curse the alarm clock
Time travels by, and frogs busy in their desk
Kid learn the alphabet and kitten play with the rat
Wife shouts after maid, and crows caws at her
Dog barks at stranger in the rust gate
And gambler enjoys beer with their mate
Clock shows twelve and sun shines overhead
All in chains!
Marriage honours dowry and farmers dreams sack of rice
Beggar begs and thieves steal laid eggs
But, nothing changes; nothing comes and nothing goes
As I stares at them, since I remember,
The year I was born.
